Configuration of Netgate 8200/pfSense based on ASA5510 and our network topology
We are seeking an experienced network engineer to stand up a Netgate 8200/pfSense. We are migrating from an ASA5510 and have a specific network topology and want to achieve this with minimal interruptions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both Cisco ASA and pfSense functionalities. You will be tasked with analyzing the existing ASA5510 config and ensuring that all necessary firewall rules, NAT settings, and VPN configurations are accurately ported over to the new system. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure a smooth transition. Need to be available for onsite cutover (remote ok). If you have experience with both systems, we would love to hear from you!
