Social Media Manager and Content Creator for Arts Focused eCommerce Brand Location: NYC or Los Angeles (Hybrid/Remote) Hours: ~5–15 hours/week About Kinstler Kinstler is a Brooklyn-based company that collaborates with leading contemporary artists to create visually striking, collectible jigsaw puzzles. Our puzzles celebrate artists at the forefront of culture and are currently sold at top retailers including McNally Jackson, Barnes & Noble, and the Getty Museum Store. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to help shape and grow our digital voice — and be part of building an artist-first brand from the inside. The Role We’re looking for a creative, self-starting social media manager with experience growing ecommerce brands and a keen eye for culture. Ideal candidates have worked with design-forward or lifestyle brands and have some familiarity with the contemporary art world — whether that’s through galleries, museums, or arts publishing. This is a part-time position with potential to grow into a larger role as the company scales. Beyond day-to-day content, there will be opportunities to contribute to brand storytelling through blog posts, artist features, campaign concepts, and other marketing initiatives. Responsibilities Manage and execute Kinstler’s social media strategy and content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Develop engaging, visually sharp content using a mix of original material, artist assets, and UGC Grow our audience and deepen community engagement through smart, consistent posting and interaction Collaborate with the founder and design team to support launches, press moments, and retail partnerships Track and report on performance metrics to inform strategy Pitch and produce blog content and assist with broader brand storytelling efforts Help identify new marketing opportunities and community-building ideas Requirements Based in New York City or Los Angeles 2–4+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or creative business (ecommerce or design background a plus) Familiarity with the contemporary art world (galleries, museums, artists, or arts media) Strong visual and writing skills, with an eye for tone, pacing, and aesthetics Experience with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, CapCut) and analytics platforms Comfortable working independently with flexibility, initiative, and creativity Why Kinstler This role offers the chance to work closely with a growing, creative company rooted in contemporary art and design.
