Community Manager (NYC-Based) — Validate
About Validate: Validate is reshaping online dating by building a community-first, trust-centered platform where people connect meaningfully both online and in real life. We’re not just another app — we’re a movement for authentic human connection, with NYC as our first anchor city. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do: ✅ Build and lead the Validate community — starting in NYC and expanding beyond ✅ Organize and host online events (chatrooms, virtual mixers, Q&As) and in-person NYC events (speed dating, social mixers, workshops) ✅ Moderate community spaces, uphold platform guidelines, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment ✅ Collaborate with marketing + product teams to surface insights, share user feedback, and shape engagement strategies ✅ Track community health metrics: participation, event turnout, user feedback, and report actionable insights ✅ Represent Validate at local activations and partnerships in NYC ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For: ✔ Strong experience building and leading online and offline communities ✔ Event management or event programming background ✔ Excellent people and communication skills; you love connecting, listening, and helping others feel included ✔ Comfortable using community tools (Slack, Discord, or similar) ✔ Bonus: Familiarity with startup environments or technical teams ✔ Remote role, but must be NYC-based or able to regularly attend NYC in-person events ________________________________________ Compensation: This is currently an equity-based role as we launch and grow, transitioning to a salaried role post-funding.
