Experience building marketplaces, working with third-party integrations (Stripe, calendar, comms), and creating user-focused experiences is a big plus. Description: We’re building an MVP for a niche service marketplace—think Upwork, but tailored for connecting individuals and businesses with vetted tax professionals for project-based work and tax questions only (no full-time roles). The goal is to create a clean, intuitive platform where users can: Post one-off jobs (e.g. “Need help with S-corp tax return” or “Review my Q2 estimated payments”) Get matched with qualified experts Schedule, communicate, and pay—seamlessly and securely Core MVP Features: User onboarding flows for both clients and tax experts Job posting and browsing Search/match filtering by service type, credentials, and availability Expert profiles with photo, LinkedIn link, service descriptions, and bios Ratings and reviews for completed projects Stripe payment integration for fixed-fee or milestone work Calendar integration for booking consultations In-app messaging or contact flow Email and SMS alerts (e.g. booking confirmations, job updates) Admin dashboard for basic user and job management Blog page for educational content and platform updates Design Priorities: Simple, intuitive UI/UX Fast and mobile-responsive Extremely easy to use, even for non-technical users Nice-to-Haves for V2+ (Future Enhancements): AI-powered matching assistant to help users find the right expert faster Pay-per-minute consultation feature (like Clarity.fm) with integrated call tracking and billing Enhanced messaging (e.g. real-time chat or video)
