Remote pediatric nurse practitioner

About the Role: We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with clinical experience and a passion for innovation to serve as a consultant in the development of mobile health applications for infants and children. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to apply their pediatric expertise in a non-clinical, tech-forward environment to improve digital health solutions for families and caregivers. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Guidance: Provide expert insights on pediatric health, growth, development, and wellness to inform mobile app features. Content Review: Review and validate medical content and user guidance for accuracy, evidence-based practice, and alignment with pediatric standards. UX Consultation: Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure app usability and engagement is appropriate for parents and caregivers. Feature Development Support: Advise on key app features such as symptom checkers, developmental milestone tracking, feeding/sleep logs, and vaccination reminders. Compliance Insight: Ensure features align with HIPAA, AAP guidelines, and other pediatric health standards. User Testing: Participate in product testing and provide feedback from a clinical perspective. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, content writers, and marketing teams. Qualifications: Retired or practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) in the U.S. Minimum of 3 years clinical pediatric experience, including well-baby and developmental care. Experience or interest in digital health, mobile health apps, or patient education tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain clinical concepts to non-medical team members. Familiarity with HIPAA, AAP, and CDC guidelines. Prior consulting, UX collaboration, or app development experience is a plus but not required. Compensation: Competitive hourly consulting rate or project-based compensation. Flexible scheduling.
