Remote Customer Service Assistant To Take Phone Calls

I run a small online business that sells digital exam prep courses for electricians. I’m looking for a U.S.-based customer service assistant who can answer occasional phone calls from customers during business hours. Call volume is VERY LOW—some days there are no calls at all, other days maybe three to five—so this role is ideal for someone with flexibility in their day who can monitor a business phone line (its on google voice) and answer most incoming calls when available. If a call is missed, expectation is to reach back out. Calls only expected to be answered within specific business hours. In the future, the role will ideally expand to include monitoring and responding to customer support emails as well. That won’t be expected at the start, but the right candidate will eventually take on both phone and email support responsibilities with provided templates and training. Requirements: -U.S.-Based -Fluent spoken and written English -Comfortable using a business phone app and email -Basic tech familiarity (no advanced skills required) -Reliable availability during U.S. business hours (exact hours flexible) Pay Structure: Given the low volume of calls, we’ll need to agree on a fair pay model—likely per minute of call time or a similar flexible structure. This is fully negotiable. Outside of an initial paid training period to get familiar with my products and offerings, there would be no guaranteed paid hours. If you're interested, please apply with a brief note about your background, your current availability, and what kind of pay structure would work for you.
