Copyeditor – E-Learning Storyboards
OVERVIEW We’re seeking 1–2 experienced copyeditors to support a short-term, fast-moving project focused on finalizing e-learning storyboards for production. These documents are written for corporate learners and require careful editing for clarity, tone, grammar, and consistency—aligned with a defined voice and style guide. The ideal candidate brings experience in Learning & Development, e-learning, or education, and is skilled in editing technical yet accessible content. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Copyedit e-learning storyboards written in Microsoft Word for tone, clarity, grammar, and alignment to professional voice • Ensure consistency across learning objectives, headings, activities, and knowledge checks • Apply plain language principles while preserving instructional intent • Edit and collaborate in real-time using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Word Online • Follow an established project style guide and provide clear, respectful editorial feedback • Collaborate with lead instructional designer on version control and revisions REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 3 years of copyediting experience in L&D, e-learning, or adult education • Strong editorial skills with sharp attention to tone, structure, and readability • Experience editing content designed for adult learners • Familiarity with e-learning formats, and instructional writing or UX conventions • Proficiency in Microsoft Word (desktop and online) and SharePoint collaboration • Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment • Availability for editing during May–June 2025 BONUS: • Experience editing financial education, compliance training, or highly regulated content • Familiarity with Articulate Storyline storyboard formats or similar production-ready documents
