Creator/Blogger Seeking Tax Professional to Help Organize Structure
Hi! I'm a full-time content creator, blogger, and digital nomad who earns income through affiliate marketing, ads, brand deals, digital courses, coaching, and sponsored content. I’ve been managing everything solo, but my tax situation needs organizing. I’m looking for someone to: - Help me understand and optimize my business finances better (LLC, TN-specific insights) - Set up a smart, easy-to-maintain bookkeeping system that works for a creator like me - Offer guidance on tracking income/expenses across multiple platforms (Stripe, PayPal, affiliate programs, etc.) - Explain what I should be doing differently when it comes to quarterly taxes - Help me understand potential deductions (travel, gear, coworking, courses, etc. beyond what I already do) - Offer solutions for better business payments with credit cards, software, etc, so I can stay on top of it all year and not rush to file by the tax year deadline I’m hoping to find someone who: - Has experience working with creators, freelancers, and/or digital nomads - Understands the nuances of online business income streams - Can explain things clearly and not just throw tax jargon at me - Is familiar with US tax law (especially for TN residents) This may be a short-term setup with the option for ongoing monthly/quarterly support if we’re a good fit. Preferred qualifications: - US-based accountant or enrolled agent - Experience with digital creators or small online business owners - Can advise on how to best move forward with QuickBooks, Wave, Xero, or spreadsheets - Patient and great at explaining things Budget: Open to hourly or flat project rate.
