Project+Admin Assistance for Environmental Consultant | students/grads preferred, intern-style role
I'm an environmental consultant with a small portfolio of work and board responsibilities. Services include strategic planning, program design, funding strategies, strategic communications, policy analysis, etc.; clients include government agencies, nonprofits; subjects include marine and forest issues, conservation and restoration, energy and climate. I'm in need of support with task management/project management, with some background research and writing support for projects on an as-needed basis. This is primarily an administrative assistant role—my workload exceeds my capacity right now, with too much time spent prioritizing/managing active threads—but this would also be a good way to get some exposure to environments planning work. This would be 5-10 hours/week at the start, primarily small tasks (regular, daily responsibilities) and entry-to-intermediate level work, but I can definitely see amending this job to intermediate-to-advanced, medium-sized projects and adjusting both your rate and the hours worked, if things are going well on my end and with your work. Recent grads and students preferred, as this would be an intern-style role and I’d love to give some solid work experience to someone starting their career.
