U.S. reagent manufacturing company looking to understand how small specialty vendors get approved by biotech, diagnostics, and CDMO buyers. Company is ISO 13485 certified, FDA-registered, and expanding into GMP space in about 12 months. -Seeking a former procurement, sourcing, or QA professional with 10+ years of experience in life sciences — ideally someone who has purchased, qualified, or imported reagents and buffers. Your Role: -Map out how small reagent vendors typically get approved. -Identify likely U.S. companies importing specialty buffers and reagents. -Advise us on buyer behavior and purchasing processes. -Provide direct contact info or warm intros to relevant buyers or sourcing leads. -I.E. "Hey, ABC CDMO is buying $200K of XYZ reagents per year. They'd respond to a pitch like this _____________ b/c ____________ is important to them." An ex-procurement person would know this information likely from their own past work or people in their network. Product Focus: You should have experience buying: Buffers & Calibration Solutions: Tris Buffer (Tris-HCl), PBS. HEPES, MES, MOPS, Glycine, Borate, Citrate, Acetate, Bicarbonate. CAPS, PIPES, TAE, TBE, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Acetate, Tricine, Imidazole, BES, TES. pH Calibration Buffers, Conductivity Standards, Osmolality Calibration Solution, Chloride Standard Solution. Phosphate Test Reagent Kits. Specialty Reagents: Clinical chemistry reagents: albumin (BCG), ALT/AST, CK/CPK, glucose, bilirubin, cholesterol, triglycerides, BUN, uric acid, lactate, LDH, and other routine assays. Specialty/toxicology assays: bile acids, methanol and ethylene glycol kits, NEFA, plasma free hemoglobin, sorbitol dehydrogenase, fructosamine, GLDH, and related diagnostic reagents. Veterinary diagnostics: lipemic sample clearing agents and other animal-use QC reagents. Chromogenix Lyo Substrates. Lyophilized diagnostic reagents or powders. RUO Reagents. Bonus Points: -Experience at or with CDMOs, IVD manufacturers, diagnostics labs, or similar regulated buyers. -Past exposure to EU-sourced reagents or small vendor qualification. -Warm leads or contact names from your network.
