Executive Assistant (Austin-based or US remote): Joseph Tsar is looking for an executive assistant who moves fast, thinks faster, and figures things out without needing to be told twice. This is a contract role with flexible hours, but you should be ready to pick up the phone when it rings. If you’re the kind of person who loves solving problems and making things happen, this is for you. About Joseph Tsar Joseph runs a company that helps creators, athletes, and leaders become world class communicators. He lives in Austin, Texas and spends most days coaching clients, running events, filming content. You’ll be the person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes while he’s moving fast out front. Minimum Requirements Please do not apply unless you meet all of these: You live in the US You have a US phone number and you can answer short 1-2 minute calls during the day You are available between 9 am and 5 pm Central time You type at least 80 words per minute You have at least one year of experience as an assistant or in an operations role You are fluent in tools like Google Calendar, Gmail, Docs, and Slack You can respond quickly to calls or requests without disappearing mid day YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU: Are a figure it out kind of person Like making things run smoother and faster Are extremely organized but never stiff Can text a stranger and get a yes without sounding weird Can research anything and send back the best option Speak like a human, not a corporate email BONUS IF YOU: Are based in or near Austin Have helped a solo founder or content creator before Have a good phone voice and a little bit of charm :) REAL EXAMPLES OF TASKS: Find a pet monkey for rent in Austin for less than $500 Book a black Suburban with a private driver for tonight Transcribe a podcast and pull out the best soundbites Draft a clean follow up email after a meeting Text someone to remind them of something they forgot PAY $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience Roughly 10 to 15 hours per week More if things go well - looking to build a long-term relationship.
