Assist/lead front-end React development on healthcare staffing platform
The Front-End Engineer will be responsible for building the user interface of the healthcare staffing platform based on completed mockups. One mock-up page is attached for an example of what most of the platform pages will look like. The engineer will work with React and TypeScript to implement a responsive, user-friendly web application that supports clinicians, facilities, and recruiters. This role requires proficiency in React and web application design. Key Responsibilities: • Develop the platform’s UI using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS. • Translate completed UI/UX mockups into functional components and interactive features. • Implement API integrations by consuming backend endpoints according to provided specifications. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design. • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering team to align on technical implementation. Summary: We are building out a healthcare staffing platform with different portals for clients (hospitals), clinicians, and recruiters. We have detailed mock-ups for the features that we need. The backend is built out, and we are looking for help to build out the front-end for the portals. Development has been started on the front-end, but the founder is mainly back-end focused and wants to bring on an experienced front-end engineer to ensure responsive and modern UI and to help speed up the development. You will be working closely with the technical founder to split up tasks and work together to complete the project. We are looking for someone with a lot of experience in front-end development. Specifically around best design principles, maintainability, and making the platform look modern and clean.
