Unreal Engine Specialist for Independent Film Production

Greedy Artists, an independent film production company, is seeking an experienced Unreal Engine specialist to assist in virtual movie production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in Unreal Engine 5.0, City Sample, vehicle movement, and cinematic creation. We would like you to add a luxury or high-performance vehicle to a virtual fast-food restaurant drive-through created as a virtual set in the small City Sample. The vehicle's interior must be as detailed as the exterior and include a cup holder. We will need you to add a vanity license plate to the front and back of the car (We will provide the City Sample set and vanity license plate artwork). We are looking for three cinematics that will use the vehicle and set. These cinematics will be intercut with virtual production components of live green screen actors recorded separately. The first cinematic will show the car pulling forward in the drive-through lane and stopping at the menu/order board. A front vanity license plate is visible. Timing of this render would be short, 5-10 seconds, allowing time for a fade-in. The second cinematic would be a low shot of the back of the car as the brake lights turn off and the car pulls forward to the payment window. The rear vanity license plate is once again visible. The timing would be 5-10 seconds. The third cinematic would be similar to the second, showing the back of the car as the car's brake lights release and the car drives away quickly from the payment window. The timing would be 5-10 seconds. We will add an actor/driver to the interior of the stopped car via green-screen matte, requiring you to return the UE project with the vehicle in place. As mentioned above, many takes will be shot inside the car, so the car's interior detail must be high-quality. All video renders should be 4k with a 16x9 aspect ratio at 24 fps and will later be incorporated into Resolve during editing. Once selected, we will provide a storyboard to give you an idea of the three cinematics.
