Grant Researcher & Writer for Sustainable Construction Startup Description: We are a U.S.-based startup launching a sustainable construction product that uses patented composite panel technology designed to reduce build time, cut costs, and minimize environmental impact. We are seeking a skilled grant writer and researcher who can help us secure non-dilutive funding through federal, state, and private grants. Scope of Work Identify grants applicable to our business (e.g., SBIR/STTR, EDA, DOE, HUD, USDA, EPA, and IFundWomen). Prepare a strategic grant calendar/timeline based on deadlines and likelihood of success. Write and submit compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents. Assist in adapting existing materials (business plan, pitch deck, certifications) for grant requirements. Provide guidance on necessary attachments, registrations (SAM.gov, Grants.gov), and compliance requirements. Ideal Candidate Has: Proven experience winning federal and private sector grants for small businesses or startups. Strong research and writing skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with innovation, sustainability, or construction-related funding. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate clearly. Bonus: Experience with IFundWomen, SBIR/STTR applications, or energy/environmental programs. Deliverables May Include: Grant opportunity list and prioritization matrix. 1–3 complete applications per month, depending on opportunities.
