Logo Concept Exploration for New Local Restaurant Brand (Estimate of Hours Required)
Important – Please Read: To be considered, you must provide an estimate of how many hours you believe it would take you to create initial logo concepts for this project. Sketches are accepted! It’s okay to estimate — I’m simply using this project to gauge timeframes and different working styles. If you do not provide an estimate, your proposal will not be considered. Job Description: I’m launching a new local restaurant brand and seeking to work with a few logo designers on an hourly basis to explore different creative directions. The goal is to: Work with multiple designers for a limited set of hours each. See what can be produced in approximately 20–40 hours (or your estimated range). Better understand how long it realistically takes to develop strong, brand-aligned logo concepts. Scope of Work: Create rough logo concepts / sketches based on a brand vision provided (not one polished final logo yet). Explore multiple creative directions — minimalist, whimsical, botanical, natural, secret garden-inspired styles are all encouraged. Deliver rough concepts or early design explorations within the agreed time cap. Requirements: Experience designing brand logos (food, restaurant, hospitality, or wellness brand experience is a plus). Ability to communicate design ideas and creative thought process. Comfortable working hourly and turning around early concepts within 1–2 weeks. Strong communication and responsiveness. Optional Bonus Skills: Light branding work (packaging, stickers, visual identity) is a plus, but not required.
