What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
We’re a founder-led creative agency seeking a sharp, trustworthy partner (or small team) to provide ongoing support across our bookkeeping, financial tracking, invoicing, and basic administrative operations. You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in helping us stay organized, tax-ready, and financially clear so we can keep our creative work flowing. What You’ll Own: -Weekly reconciliation and categorization in QuickBooks Online -Monthly P&L preparation and budget tracking -Coordinating quarterly tax payments and preparing year-end financials -Light oversight of QuickBooks Payroll to ensure accuracy (we run it in-house) -Creating and sending client invoices (Around 10-15/month) -Following up on past-due invoices (friendly, professional tone; templates provided if needed) -Uploading/tracking receipts and expenses -Offering recommendations for writeoffs and tax savings -Tracking contractor payments and ensuring they’re logged correctly -Supporting clean handoffs to our CPA at tax time OR you are a CPA (If yes, please indicate) ✅ You Might Be a Fit If: -You can offer guidance on tax strategy and creative accounting -You’re a bookkeeper or financial assistant with experience in service-based or creative businesses -You’re confident working in QuickBooks Online, including reports and payroll -You’re detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about tracking timelines and tasks -You enjoy keeping things running smoothly and making sure the numbers are right -You may work independently or you are a small, dedicated team that shares responsibilities seamlessly
