We run a U.S.-based e-commerce business (registered in California) selling online, and we need a highly experienced QuickBooks professional to help us clean up and maintain complex financial records. Our accounting involves: Rebates and vendor incentives Customer RMAs and returns Credit memos Amazon fees, deposits, and chargebacks Inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) We are not looking for a basic bookkeeper. We need someone who understands the nuances of returns, refunds, credits, and vendor-side adjustments, and can properly reflect these in QuickBooks Online (or Desktop if required). Responsibilities: Clean up and restructure our current QuickBooks file Record rebates, returns, and credit memos properly Reconcile Amazon settlements, Shopify payouts, and bank accounts Set up rules and automations to handle recurring issues Create accurate financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Optional: Provide monthly bookkeeping, inventory tracking, and tax coordination Required Expertise: Strong QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification (QBO or Desktop) Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify Familiarity with tools like A2X, TaxJar, etc. Proven knowledge of rebates, RMAs, credit memos, and e-commerce return workflows Excellent communication and documentation skills CPA, controller, or financial ops background (preferred but not required) Engagement: Project-based cleanup with option to extend into ongoing support Remote – U.S. or global Start: ASAP
