Seeking an HR Consultant, as a contractor via Upwork: - Seeking weekly consultation with HR team, on mostly routine and occasionally pressing matters regarding HR decision making. Preferably at a set weekly meeting time. Seeking HR advisory services with CEO and HR team present. The company maintains excellent records and has excellent compliance with HR matters and seeks an HR Director to consult to ensure the highest level of compliance is achieved and that the company is able to go beyond compliance to enhance the lives of staff at our organization. - Develops, recommends, evaluates, and implements sound human resources policies and procedures to the organization. - Provides human resources consultation and policy/legal review to managers in all departments and areas of the clinics; ensures all human resource activities and actions are in compliance with established policies, procedures and laws. - Supervises assigned professional, technical and clerical staff. Supervisory duties include planning and assigning work, maintaining standards, coordinating activities, selecting new employees, acting on employee problems, and recommending and approving employee discipline and discharge, as appropriate. Evaluates the work of subordinates for completeness, accuracy and achievement of established objectives; offers advice and assistance as needed, and only as requested by upper management - Advises upon recruitment for open positions as requested - Maintains the clinics salary evaluation and compensation plan - Advises on the performance appraisal system, and pay increases for employees - Advises on benefits program including, employee health/retirement benefits workers compensation, orientation, unemployment, etc - Consults regarding the retirement plan and eligibility -Receives employee grievances and questions and provides appropriate counseling as necessary -Serves as member of the executive management team assisting in decision making with the CEO - Provides direction in ADA and sexual harassment prevention matters; investigates, analyzes and advises the HR team regarding claims of harassment or discrimination, if any were to occur -Develops, oversees and maintains the Human Resources team including assistant and generalist -Directs the maintenance of confidential human resources and personal filing systems -Advises on and monitors adequate training and continuing education of employees -Prepare reports for the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and outside state and federal agencies as needed -Performs related work, as requested
