Attorney to Review Consultant Agreement and Advise on Termination Options
We are seeking an experienced attorney to review an existing consulting agreement and advise us on our options for termination, including potential termination for cause. This involves: -- Reviewing the current contract with a consultant -- Assessing any breaches or misrepresentations that may constitute grounds for termination -- Advising on the safest and most appropriate course of action -- (Optional) Drafting or reviewing a termination notice or related correspondence Requirements: Experience with contract law, particularly consulting or independent contractor agreements and termination clauses. If this engagement goes well, there will be opportunities for additional projects related to employee and consultant agreements—for example, reviewing and reworking our standard agreements.
