I need assistance drafting a legally sound, well-structured promissory note, and potentially other supporting documents (e.g., personal guarantees, loan agreements, or security instruments) to properly protect myself as a lender. I'm looking to work with someone who: -Has experience drafting hard money loan documents -Understands real estate lending, especially as it applies to non-owner-occupied land deals -Can advise on and include the appropriate clauses for default, interest, fees, legal jurisdiction, insurance requirements, etc. -Can help ensure I’m compliant with relevant laws (particularly in states like Washington, Texas, etc.) Bonus if you’re familiar with: -Usury laws and how they apply to business-purpose loans -Lending from LLC to LLC -Common protections lenders include in the vacant land space I’d like to get this completed quickly and thoroughly.
