QuickBooks Online Setup for STL Chiropractic Business (Payments, Tax, Inventory, Bank Feeds)
Description: We’re a small chiropractic business located in Fenton, MO looking for a QuickBooks Online expert to set up our books the right way and integrate the tools we use day-to-day. This is a one-time setup project, but we may keep you on for periodic check-ins or ongoing weekly entries. It currently takes the owner 6 hours a week to manually enter all of the transactions … the objective is to reduce this time and Your tasks will include: - Migrating Quickbooks Desktop 2022 pro to Quickbooks Online - Assess needs based on a review/study of current accounting practices to reduce entry times and increase accounting efficiencies. - Setting up QuickBooks Online for a service-based business with retail supplement sales (revenue accounts include chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy and supplements). We need revenue accounts for multiple chiropractors and multiple massage therapists. - Configuring QuickBooks Payments for credit card processing at the front desk - Setting up sales tax rules and taxable/non-taxable product groups - Creating an account/line entry for credit card processing fee - Creating sales receipt workflows for front-desk staff to use at point-of-sale - Connecting and reconciling bank and credit card feeds - Advising on product/service/inventory categorization (e.g., services vs supplements) - Documenting workflows for future use by our staff or bookkeeper - Developing profit and loss statements - Training ownership on fixed overhead totals and understanding key overhead expenses. You are: - A certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or similar - Experienced with service + retail hybrid businesses - Comfortable integrating payments and tax handling - Detail-oriented and great at documenting process - Located in central time zone or close to Fenton, MO is a strong plus Please include any relevant past projects or reviews, especially if you've worked with other small health/wellness businesses.
