Description: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Fractional Controller to help stabilize our financial operations, implement smarter cash management practices, and lay the groundwork for scalable growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in turnaround environments and has a passion for building strong financial systems from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Support financial turnaround initiatives with a focus on clarity, control, and compliance Implement and manage the Profit First cash management system Conduct detailed financial audits and clean up historical data Build and maintain financial systems, policies, and reporting infrastructure Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support executive decision-making What We're Looking For: Experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in turnaround businesses Hands-on knowledge of Profit First and cash flow planning tools Strong background in auditing, reconciliation, and process documentation Systems builder with a track record of creating efficient, scalable finance operations Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Engagement: Part-time / project-based (10–20 hrs/week to start, flexible schedule) Remote Potential to grow into a long-term financial leadership role How to Apply: Please share a short summary of your turnaround experience, how you’ve used Profit First in previous roles, and a specific example of a financial system you’ve built or improved.
