Construction Project Management System Consultant (Experience with National Homebuilders Preferred)
Description: We are a growing project management firm specializing in manufactured home installation and lot preparation. Our business is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking to build out a best-in-class project management system modeled after the processes used by nationwide homebuilders like Lennar, D.R. Horton, or M/I Homes. We’re seeking an experienced construction operations consultant who has worked inside or closely with a national homebuilder and can help us build out the following: ⸻ What We’re Looking to Build: • A repeatable project management process from lot preparation to final home closeout. • Templates, SOPs, and workflows that align with how large-scale builders track schedules, vendors, permitting, and inspections. • A streamlined system for managing multiple simultaneous projects across different communities. • Help with selecting or optimizing PM software (Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, etc.) or guiding the structure in our current system (Smartsuite). • Guidance on KPI tracking, milestone accountability, and vendor management systems. ⸻ Ideal Consultant Profile: • Experience working for (or consulting with) national or regional homebuilders. • Proven track record in building or optimizing project management systems and SOPs. • Familiarity with both field operations and back-office coordination. • Bonus: experience in modular/manufactured home installation or horizontal construction.
