We have a public works project that we are trying to get into the 1 year warranty on. I need some help to figure out our responsibilities as it pertains to noxious weeds. Also, when does the 1 year warranty on the plant establishment begin and end? The agency is giving us a hard time on seeing invasive species on -site and saying the warranty period won't start until they are removed. But the way I read it is after the plants are planted (about 3 weeks ago) we need to keep the invasives to less than 10% coverage across the project area for a full year. They are saying the clock won't start until all invasive are removed, not just kept to 10%. Please help!! I have project docs to share. thanks
