Experienced attorney on E2 Visa
I am currently on an E2 visa in the US, with slightly less than a month remaining on my I-94. The business for which I was originally approved unfortunately did not survive the impact of COVID-19. However, I’ve since started a new venture, launched in 2024, which has experienced great success, including attracting investment. On January this year I created a new corporation that better aligns with the technology launched because the previous company was/is aligned in the telecommunications space. I have since moved the assets from the telecommunications company to this new incorporated company which I'm the sole shareholder of. This is my third E2 visa application, and I’ve been in the US for over 10 years. Over the last couple of weeks I've compiled 99% of all the documentation required and structured it as per the internal guidelines that consulates need. I've also included a business plan. I intend to apply through a consulate, however, I'm missing a critical requirement which is evidence of employees (even though I understand this is not an absolute requirement, it is very helpful) and I've not arrived at the point of hiring people. So what I want to do is to file with the USCIS for an extension / change and while this application is in queue I will hire staff and shortly after do a consular filing (this process is only a month or two away from now). If an interview comes in time, then I will withdraw the application from USCIS and do the consular interview. I need help in filing the right forms to the USCIS - i129 as well as any other that might be needed, both for me and my wife. The information in the forms needs to be spot on and in this task I'm concerned because I don't want to make a mistake. I'm looking for: 1. An immigration attorney or expert with extensive experience in handling E2 applications. 2. Someone who can fill out the required forms based on my current situations and give me some guidance with anything that might be important. This is an urgent priority for me, and I would like the application to be mailed as soon as possible. Please let me know if you can assist or recommend someone who can.
