What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
We are a small nonprofit supporting head and neck cancer patients/survivors, and caregivers. We seek an experienced graphic designer to assist in creating visually appealing brochures and promotional materials. We will provide the content; we just need the brochures laid out and designed. You will be working for our in-house designer and should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic design. We don't currently have the details on the brochure specifics as we would like input from whoever we hire regarding how many pages the brochure should end up being. For the sake of argument, please provide your estimate for a 16-page brochure that, when folded/stapled, would have a 4"x9" footprint. We have multiple brochures that need to be designed as well as other design projects potentially in the future. We're looking for someone who can work with our in-house designer on an ongoing basis. Bonus points if you have experience in working for cancer nonprofits or do custom illustrations. I expect you to have access to a stock graphics site like Shutterstock or Adobe and there should be limited use of AI. I expect all design files to be turned over to us (including fonts, graphics, and master design files). I am looking for a proper graphic designer who knows Adobe software inside and out. I am not looking for someone who just knows how to use AI or Canva to make a design.
