SharePoint & Power Automate Expert for Certificate Management Automation
Folks who live in the DC area will be highly favored as this could turn in a bigger job down the road but you will need to be local and able to meet. Not a deal breaker but a preference Description: We are a specialized service provider looking for a skilled professional to build a secure, automated system using SharePoint and Power Automate to distribute confidential certificates to clients. Scope of Work: • Build a structured SharePoint Online folder system based on a provided spreadsheet of customer names and emails • Set folder-level permissions so each client can only access their assigned folder • Use Power Automate to monitor a dedicated Microsoft 365 inbox • When an email arrives from a specific sender, the system will: • Scan the subject line or attachment name • Identify the correct client folder • Upload the certificate to that folder automatically • Only the authorized user should be able to view/download files in their folder • Configure and send mass email invitations to customers • Invite users to access their folders securely (via Azure AD B2B, Microsoft 365 guest access, etc.) Required Skills & Technologies: • Microsoft SharePoint Online (folder structure, permissions, document libraries) • Power Automate (Flow) (automated email handling, file uploads, condition logic) • Microsoft 365 Outlook / Exchange Online (inbox rule integration) • Azure Active Directory (AAD) – especially guest user creation & permissions • Excel/CSV data parsing for initial folder and user mapping • Basic PowerShell scripting (optional but helpful for bulk operations) • Email automation tools (within Power Automate or 365 ecosystem) Ideal Candidate: • Demonstrated experience building similar automations • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and permission models • Able to work independently and deliver a complete, well-documented solution • Communicates clearly and can maintain confidentiality This is a one-time project with potential for additional work as we scale.
