Electrical Engineer/Designer Needed for CubeSmart Office Conversion
Building scope consists of interior demolition and new office build-out at the CubeSmart Self Storage facility in Peoria, Illinois. The work involves converting a portion of the existing structure—identified in the Client’s provided exhibit—to an approximately 800-square-foot administrative office suite. Space programming includes one open office area with front desk and side counter, a single-user ADA-compliant restroom, and a break room with lower/upper cabinetry and sink. The office is intended for daily administrative use and light occupancy. FULL MEP under my scope -- I need the ELECTRICAL DESIGN from you. I’m looking for someone who can: Produce complete ELECTRICAL design drawings (lighting, power, data rough-in/coordination, schedules). Work with codes applicable to Illinois (see attached scope). Coordinate with me on M&P drawings and architect (I will always be the primary point of contact). Deliverable: Drawings must be permit-ready for City of Peoria, Illinois. PE Stamp Requirement: No requirement, but PE-IL (or other Midwest state) preferred. I will stamp ALL MEP Plans. Please indicate if: You are an Illinois PE and can both design and stamp (stamp not reqd.), OR You are a competent electrical designer allowing me to review & stamp your completed plans. Deliverables: Full ELECTRICAL drawing set in PDF and CAD (DWG) formats (I will need to incorporate into my set, apply seal, etc.) Budget: Looking for cost-effective options.
