Interior Designer / 3D Visualizer (Revit BIM Coordination)
Location: Hybrid preferred (Connecticut-based or able to attend in-person meetings as needed) Type: Freelance / Contract Duration: Project-based (starting immediately) Start Date: [Insert your timeline] Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced interior designer or 3D visualizer proficient in Revit to support a high-end interior design project that is being developed in a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment. The role will involve producing detailed, realistic 3D interior visualizations using Revit, fully coordinated with architectural layouts provided by our design team. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D interior visualizations in Revit based on provided fixed architectural layouts Collaborate with design team to interpret FF&E concepts into Revit-compatible models Ensure all models and outputs are fully compatible with BIM coordination workflows Provide renderings or animations as needed for presentations or stakeholder reviews Coordinate with external consultants and architects within a shared Revit environment Outsource rendering support if necessary (managing quality and consistency) Requirements: Proficiency in Revit (3D modeling + BIM coordination essential) Experience creating interior renderings within Revit (Enscape, Lumion, or Twinmotion integration a plus) Strong understanding of interior detailing and spatial planning Ability to interpret and work from architectural drawings Good communication and collaboration skills Experience with hospitality or residential projects is preferred
