Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Audiologist Professional Supervisor to oversee its OSHA-compliant Hearing Conservation Program (HCP). This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and provides expert guidance on Standard Threshold Shift (STS) management, audiometric testing oversight, and worker hearing health. The contractor will serve as a liaison between our company, client companies, and employees, ensuring proper interpretation and handling of audiometric data. Key Responsibilities: - Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the Professional Supervisor per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95, ensuring compliance with hearing conservation program requirements. - Standard Threshold Shift (STS) Management: Provide expert guidance on STS determination, follow-up testing, and required notifications. - Audiometric Review: Oversee and validate audiometric test results, ensuring accuracy and proper interpretation. - Client & Employee Guidance: Act as a liaison between employers, employees, and audiometric technicians regarding hearing conservation and STS outcomes. - Program Improvement: Offer recommendations to enhance program effectiveness, training, and noise exposure management. - Collaboration: Work with our internal team and clients to optimize hearing conservation strategies. Qualifications: - Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s in Audiology with relevant OSHA HCP experience. - Licensed Audiologist (state-specific licensure preferred but not required for all jurisdictions). - Experience in occupational hearing conservation, STS management, and OSHA compliance. - Occupational health experience of audiometric testing protocols and hearing protection programs. - Excellent communication skills to work with employers, employees, and health & safety professionals. - Ability to work independently as a contractor, providing expert guidance on an as-needed basis. Contract Details: - Flexible, remote position with potential travel for client consultations. - Compensation based on hourly or per-service rate (to be determined).
