Experienced DBA Needed to Convert MediaBank app's Oracle 11 Database to Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to lead the conversion of an existing Oracle 11 database to Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in SQL, with deep expertise in both Oracle and MSSQL platforms. Test environment available. Key Responsibilities - Assess and analyze the current Oracle 11 database structure, stored procedures, and data. - Plan and implement a comprehensive migration to Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring minimal downtime. - Convert all relevant schema objects including tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions. - Maintain data integrity, consistency, and performance throughout the migration. - Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure a fully functional transition. Requirements: - Proven experience with Oracle Database 11 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019 - Demonstrated success in database migration projects particularly from Oracle to MSSQL. - Strong understanding of data architecture, indexing, and performance tuning - Proficiency with migration tools and methods - Ability to produce documentation and offer guidance for post-migration support. - Familiarity with MediaBank platform is a plus.
