Excel KPI Dashboard & Automation Specialist for Nonprofit Projects
We’re a youth-serving nonprofit in California seeking an experienced Excel-based dashboard builder to finalize and maintain a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking system tied to grant deliverables. The structure has already been established, and a preliminary version is in place. We now need a contractor to: Finalize automation across summary tabs Clean and validate data entries Ensure KPI tracking is accurate, visually intuitive, and funder-ready Reflect real-time progress indicators (Red/Yellow/Green) Maintain visibility into critical June 2025 deadlines This dashboard supports two active grant-funded projects focused on youth public health and equity. Scope of Work: Link the “Master KPI Tracker” to automated summary tabs: Program Performance Top Needs / Barriers Top Successes Validate and clean all fields: Owners, Due Dates, Status, Barriers, Successes Ensure dynamic filtering by project, status, or timeline Provide a brief update procedure for team maintenance post-handoff Required Skills: Microsoft Excel (advanced) Excel formulas & logic (e.g., COUNTIFS, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting) Dashboard design & data visualization KPI development & performance monitoring Spreadsheet automation Data analytics & reporting accuracy Experience with nonprofit, grant, or public health reporting preferred Experience Level: Intermediate to Expert We are looking for someone who can work independently, understand the structure already in place, and complete the deliverables quickly with a high standard of accuracy. Timeline: Must begin within 24 hours of selection Final delivery required by Tuesday, May 22, 2025 Minor post-delivery revisions may be requested by May 24 Budget: This is a fixed-price project with a total budget of $400 USD. If additional post-delivery support is needed, it can be negotiated separately.
