Description: We’re looking for a skilled developer to create a custom AI-powered tool that connects to our existing data sources (primarily Google Drive with vendor spec sheets, price lists, and award data) and provides an intuitive front-end for our sales team to query product, pricing, and competitor data quickly and intelligently. Project Scope: • Connect to Google Drive and index documents (PDF, Excel, CSV, etc.) • Build a clean, searchable interface for the sales team to filter or query by: • Product type or SKU • Geographic region/customer location • Case count, pack size, pallet configurations • Best current vendor pricing • Historical pricing from our records • Include a Prior Award History tab that: • Shows previous awards (internal and public data) • Extracts and displays competitor pricing • Helps identify bidding patterns, common winning vendors, and pricing trends • Incorporate AI/NLP (e.g., GPT, Haystack, LangChain) for natural language querying • Display suggestions or insights based on historical trends and geography Tech Skills Needed: • Google Drive API or cloud file ingestion • NLP/AI tools (OpenAI API, LangChain, Haystack, Pinecone, etc.) • Front-end experience (e.g., React, Streamlit, Flask, or similar frameworks) • Database management and backend integration • Bonus: Experience with procurement/bidding data or gov contracts Deliverables: • MVP with full front-end interface and working backend logic • Easy query system for both structured and natural language searches • Award history and competitor pricing analysis • Clear documentation and deployment support Proposal Requirements: • Relevant portfolio or past similar projects • Proposed tech stack and architecture • Timeline to deliver MVP • Fixed price or hourly rate We’re looking for someone who can start immediately and help us streamline internal decision-making and enhance our competitive edge.
