Build Automated Scraping & Sourcing Workflows for Online Auction Sites with AI-Based Filtering

Objective: I need to automate my established process of finding retail-ready pallet or bulk inventory for sale on Amazon and eBay, by scraping auction listings from sites like BidSpotter, HiBid, and Proxibid, analyzing both the text and images of listings using Scraping and AI tools, then consolidating viable results into a centralized spreadsheet. Key Deliverables: ✅ Workflow 1: Text + Image Based Filtering Scrape auction listings that include keywords like “pallet”, “skid”, “merchanise” “case lot”, “bulk”, etc. Extract: Title Description Auction URL Image URLs Auction close date Auction Company website Analyze TEXT using AI (Like GPT or OpenAI API for example) to determine resale potential Analyze IMAGES using AI (Like GPT-4 Vision or similar) to detect sealed pallets or case-packed items Filter and score listings based on combined text + image analysis Output top results to Google Sheets ✅ Workflow 2: Image-Only Filtering Scrape a wider set of auction listings, regardless of keywords Focus on analyzing IMAGES ONLY (to catch listings with vague or poor text descriptions given by the auction companies) Use AI image analysis to classify listings as viable or not for resale Output results to the same database or spreadsheet, tagged accordingly ✅ Workflow 3: Data Consolidation & Deduplication Combine both result sets (Text+Image and Image-Only) Deduplicate listings using URL or other identifier Merge or compare confidence scores from both sources Final output: master spreadsheet of high-confidence inventory leads Examples Of Applicable Tools: Scraping: Octoparse, ParseHub, Apify, Python/Scrapy (open to options) AI: OpenAI GPT-4 (especially GPT-4 Vision) Automation: Zapier, Make (Integromat), Google Apps Script Output: Google Sheets or Airtable Bonus Skills (not required but helpful): Familiarity with Amazon FBA or eBay resale Success Looks Like: A working automated system that twice a week delivers a list of high-quality, retail-ready pallet listings from auction sites AI-validated results that reduce manual screening A single source of results (Google Sheets) where I can quickly see top opportunities If you're interested, please: Provide examples of similar automations or scrapers you’ve built and let me know which tools you’d prefer to use. Also, include a rough timeline and estimated cost to build this system.
