The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing complex data sets to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. Responsibilities: Utilize advanced Excel functions and techniques to parse, organize, and analyze large volumes of payroll and tax data. Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases to streamline data management processes. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to provide data-driven insights and reports. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency in managing financial data. Qualifications: Proven expertise in Excel with the ability to handle and manipulate large datasets efficiently. Experience specifically in parsing multiple lines of data in the payroll and tax domain is highly preferred. Strong understanding of payroll and tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate complex data findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field preferred. 3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role, focusing on data analysis in payroll and tax.
