I'm building a prototype for a next-generation, AI-enhanced writing platform designed specifically for novelists, authors, and serious creatives. The goal is to bring emotional depth, story intelligence, and clean creative flow into a modern tool that supports the writing process like no other app currently does. This project is in early-stage product development. I have conceptual mockups, feature descriptions, and detailed references — now I need a designer who can bring the visual language to life in Figma and create a polished, interactive prototype for feedback, validation, and development handoff. Scope of Work Design a UI style system: fonts, colors, spacing, icons, buttons Build out these screens including: Navigation panel and home screen Writing workspace Scene navigator + tone tracker AI assistant panel Character arc builder Emotional rhythm timeline Theme mapping Workflow center (task views for teams) Submission dashboard (query tracking) Scene-level editing tools Writer ritual/journal center Make it clickable in Figma for product demos Organize components and layers for handoff Ideal Candidate Strong Figma design skills Prior experience with creative tools, SaaS platforms, or AI interfaces Understands how to design for writers or creatives Can balance elegance, whitespace, and intuitive flow Communicates proactively and delivers on timelines Deliverables A complete Figma file (organized by page and screen) A visual design system (typography, components, states) Clickable prototype with basic interactions Bonus: light documentation or guide for future devs I have AI generated mock up images to use to help expedite the work more quickly.
