Cosmetic Chemist Needed to Formulate Skincare Line
We're launching a high-performance, science-backed skincare line focused on honeysuckle and NAD+ and longevity beauty. We're seeking an experienced cosmetic chemist to help us formulate 2–3 hero products (a serum, moisturizer, and eye cream) designed to support cellular repair, anti-aging, and visible glow. Key Responsibilities: Formulate from scratch using NAD+ or stabilized derivatives (e.g., NMN, NADH) Recommend complementary actives (e.g., niacinamide, CoQ10, peptides) Advise on delivery systems (encapsulation, liposomes, fermentation) Ensure formulation is clean, safe, and FDA-compliant Provide guidance on ingredient sourcing and lab sampling Support development with documentation or regulatory insights (as needed) Ideal Candidate: Background in cosmetic chemistry or skincare formulation Experience with bioactives, anti-aging ingredients, or longevity compounds Familiarity with NAD+ or biotech-based actives is a strong plus Able to deliver quickly — we are targeting a soft launch within 3 months Comfortable working as a consultant or collaborator on early-stage brand launches Project Scope: 3 custom SKUs: serum, moisturizer, eye cream Support through R&D and sample-ready formulation Potential for long-term consulting or product expansion Hourly Budget:
