Our CEO and CMO are visionary operators—yet hiring, onboarding, and day-to-day team management are bottlenecks. We’re seeking a fractional Director of People & Performance to: • Build a predictable hiring funnel • Design 30-60-90-day onboarding plans that ramp new hires fast • Directly manage key team members until they consistently hit OKRs Scope & Deliverables – Create/update scorecards for every open role and run structured Topgrading interviews – Source, screen, reference-check, and close 3 priority hires in the first 45 days – Craft onboarding playbooks and buddy systems; 90-day success rate ≥90% – Own weekly stand-ups, bi-weekly 1:1s, KPI dashboards, and quarterly reviews for Marketing & Product squads – Cut founder oversight hours by 50% within three months – Document all systems so they’re founder-independent by Month 6 Ideal Candidate – 5+ years in People/Operations roles where you both hired and personally managed cross-functional teams (startup or high-growth SMB) – Proven track record reducing time-to-fill and improving employee ramp speed – Fluent with ATS (Lever/Greenhouse), performance tools (Lattice), and async comms (Notion, Loom, Slack) – Comfortable coaching high-performing creatives, marketers, and engineers – Values-driven: you care about wellness and mission-led businesses Engagement Details • Start: ASAP (interviewing this week) • Time zone overlap: minimum 4 hrs with EST business day
