WordPress Designer/Developer Needed to Finalize Health & Wellness E-Commerce Site
We’re looking for an experienced WordPress designer/developer to help complete and optimize an in-progress website for our platform—a health and wellness platform designed for active adults aged 50–80. This site blends Amazon affiliate product listings with curated blog content and will evolve into a full e-commerce experience. Phase 1 is already underway, but we need a skilled, detail-oriented professional to bring it across the finish line. We don’t want someone to simply implement a preexisting theme; we want and expect some customization to match our goals. Project Scope • Redesign and structure the site for a visually friendly experience • Create/refine homepage category, and solution pages: Fitness, Nutrition, Brain Health, Tech, etc. • Select and insert on-brand images (stock or AI-generated) and graphics • Integrate Amazon affiliate plugin with tracking (recommend best option) • Set up WooCommerce or similar for checkout readiness • Streamline blog content management with templates • Connect and display Instagram feed (others to follow) • Apply SEO best practices (for blog + product pages) • Ensure mobile optimization and responsive layout • Provide clear documentation or walkthrough for handoff Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required) • UX/UI experience designing simple for middle aged, active demographics • Experience with e-commerce and affiliate marketing Deliverables • Fully functioning, visually polished WordPress website • Integration of blog + affiliate content in a cohesive layout • Plugin recommendations and site performance tuning • Simple guide for blog/product posting and site updates To Apply: Please include: • Links to 2–3 WordPress or e-commerce sites you’ve built • A brief overview of your development process • Your estimated time and cost for this Phase 2 scope • (Optional) Suggestions for improving UX or affiliate performance Looking forward to working with someone who is creative, proactive, able to follow direction, and excited about empowering healthy living through a modern, user-friendly digital platform.
