We are seeking a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to review and stamp engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project evaluations and ensuring compliance with TECQ state regulations. Responsibilities include thoroughly reviewing plans, providing feedback, and issuing necessary approvals. This role is critical in maintaining project timelines and standards, so attention to detail is a must. Familiarity with Texas engineering codes and practices is required. Looking for a quick turn around; and a freelance PE at the lowest rate, possible additional projects. - Conduct a thorough review of project plans, calculations, and documentation for compliance with Texas regulations and standards. We’re not looking for stamps only as some provide here without review. - Provide PE stamp and signature for permitting submission. - Collaborate with our team to address any feedback or revisions required by regulatory authorities. - Potential Future Opportunities: Successful collaboration could lead to recurring reviews for similar projects in Texas. Requirements: - Active PE license in the state of Texas (non-negotiable). - Experience with Texas permitting processes and familiarity with local/state codes. - Background in structural, architectural, and MEP (as relevant to the project scope). - Ability to deliver timely, detail-oriented reviews. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience supervising and stamping plans ready for commercial, residential, or infrastructure project permitting. - Strong communication skills for coordinating with team and regulatory agencies.
