Experienced Cvent Specialist Needed for October Conference (Event Agency Support)
Description: We are an established event agency producing a multi-day, in-person conference this October and are seeking an experienced Cvent contractor to support our team with the build-out and management of the event in Cvent. You’ll work closely with our Event Manager and Logistics Lead to ensure the registration platform is fully functional, user-friendly, and aligned with the client’s needs. **Project Timeline** Start Date: As soon as possible (ideally by May 26, 2025) End Date: October 25, 2025 Estimated Hours: 25–35 hours total (spread across pre-event build, testing, launch, and potential support for event days) **Key Responsibilities** Build event in Cvent Event Management platform Customize registration form (including conditional logic if needed) Set up automated emails (confirmations, reminders, and updates) Upload and maintain attendee lists Assist with Cvent OnArrival setup (check-in and badge printing) Pull reports for internal tracking and client updates Troubleshoot registration issues pre-event and during live dates (Oct 8–10) **Ideal Qualifications** 2+ years of experience using Cvent Event Management Strong eye for detail, especially in form logic, email flows, and data integrity Ability to follow direction while taking initiative to problem-solve Comfortable working independently and meeting quick turnaround timelines Bonus: Familiarity with Cvent OnArrival and/or Attendee Hub Available for weekly check-ins via Zoom or Google Meets Located on the West Coast of the US **Budget** $3,000–$4,500 USD, depending on experience and efficiency *** To Apply *** PLEASE READ THIS** Please include the following in your proposal: A brief summary of your Cvent experience Two examples of events you've built or supported in Cvent Your availability between now and October 25 Preferred rate (hourly or flat) Any certifications (Cvent Certified preferred but not required)
