Roofing Supplement Specialist & Xactimate Estimator – Insurance Claims Expert
Description: I work with Linear Roofing & General Contractors LLC, and I’m looking for a skilled supplement specialist and Xactimate expert to work directly with me. Your focus will be to maximize insurance estimates across both roofing and general contracting scopes, including securing O&P and adding missing or underpaid line items. This is a long-term opportunity with steady work for someone experienced in property insurance claims, Xactimate writing, and communicating with adjusters. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Review insurance scopes and identify underpaid or omitted items • Create and revise detailed Xactimate estimates for roofing and all GC trades (interior/exterior) • Strategically secure Overhead & Profit (O&P) where justified • Submit supplements and communicate directly with insurance adjusters • Ensure all revisions and documentation are submitted in a timely, organized way • Collaborate directly with me to drive job profitability and project efficiency ⸻ Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Expert-level Xactimate skills (roofing + general contracting) • Deep understanding of insurance claims processes and policies • A track record of successfully supplementing and securing O&P • Clear, professional communication skills • Detail-oriented mindset with strong justification skills for added line items ⸻ Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required): • Experience as a licensed adjuster • Working knowledge of IBC/IRC and local code compliance • Sales or upsell experience in insurance restoration ⸻ Why Work With Me: At Linear Roofing & General Contractors, we handle a wide variety of insurance restoration projects through storm related damages.
