Experienced Medical Biller
We are seeking an experienced medical billing specialist with a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations across small to mid-sized practices in the US Ideal candidates will have experience with: - Submitting claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers - Managing claim denials, re-submissions, and appeals - Payment posting, reconciliation, and working A/R follow-ups - Working across various specialties - Working with small, medium and large experience Responsibilities: - Accurately prepare and submit medical claims through payer portals and clearinghouses - Monitor claims through the reimbursement cycle and resolve denials or rejections - Work with provider offices to obtain necessary documentation for billing and appeals - Assist in maintaining accurate records of patient accounts and payment status Requirements: - 3+ years experience in medical billing, preferably with multiple specialties - Familiarity with EHR and billing systems (such as Kareo, DrChrono, AdvancedMD, or Epic) - Knowledge of payer-specific rules, authorization processes, and coding requirements - Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Bonus if you: - Understand financing options for practices - Familiarity with Medicaid and workers' compensation claims
