Soft Goods Product Designer for Automotive Storage Solutions (Van Life Market)
We're looking for a skilled soft goods product designer to help develop a line of functional and aesthetic storage solutions tailored for camper vans. These products include: Overhead soft cabinets ("uppers") Modular door-mounted storage bags Seat-back organizers Hanging gear bags Fold-out utility pouches Custom soft storage for specific van models (Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster) We’re Infinity Vans, a company focused on modular, prefabricated van conversion kits. Your designs should consider: Space optimization in tight vehicle interiors Attachment systems (Velcro, MOLLE, snaps, zippers, magnets, L-track integration) Durability for off-road/travel use Aesthetic alignment with our FeltBuilt™ panel systems Ideal skills: Experience in soft goods / sewn product design Familiarity with technical packs, camping gear, or automotive accessories Proficient in CAD for textiles (CLO3D, Rhino + Grasshopper, Fusion 360, or similar) Understanding of materials like Cordura, X-Pac, felt, and ripstop Ability to deliver tech packs for manufacturing Please include a portfolio showcasing similar projects, especially bags, organizers, or automotive soft goods.
