What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
Hi, my name is Mark and I am a comedian/ video producer producing independent comedy content. I'm looking to collaborate with a really fun and interesting videographer to help me film my videos. It will require a more run and gun documentary, man on the street style. I'm very interested in collaborating with someone who gets my vibe and gets the sense of humor. It's very goofy, weird, Tim Robinson, Tim and Eric esc. It's also important to be comfortable with filming potentially awkward interactions and awkward interview style moments. "messing with real people". Ideally, I'm looking for someone I can create a long-term relationship with who can be my go to videographer. Vibe is very important, probably more important than talent. I'm really interested in someone that gets the humor. I also have a ton of stuff that I'm working on so if there is a fit, there could be potential for a lot of work in the future. Although I don't have a ton of budget currently, I am somewhat flexible on pay, depending on the fit. In addition to or instead of pay, I am also a videographer and editor so I am open to offer my skills as a trade. Ideal scenario is someone else looking to create content, podcast or other videos, and we can skill trade.. As much as I am asking you to collaborate with me, I'm happy to collaborate with you, and just help support each other. Bonus points if you have your own camera. Ideally Panasonic S5ii or Sony FX3. Bonus points as well if you are talented in cinematic filming, as I will need someone like that for the future as well. Ideal person is located near Long Beach, California. Open to anyone in Southern California.
