We’re looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to research and compile a comprehensive, user-friendly list of transportation resources serving Johnson County, Kansas (and potentially surrounding areas). This includes services like public transit, paratransit, microtransit, non-emergency medical transportation, senior services, and any other public/private transportation support available to residents. The final product should include: Name of each transportation provider or service Full description of what the service offers Eligibility criteria (if any) Pricing and fare structure How to apply or access the service Hours of operation Website and social media links Phone number and email Any downloadable forms or required documents (linked) Deliverables: Editable format (Word preferred for drafts, Canva and Adobe welcome for design if needed) A simple layout that can be converted to PDF or uploaded to a website A spreadsheet version for internal use/updating This is a one-time project, but the guide needs to be easy for our team to update later on. Ideal Candidate: Strong online research skills Clear, accessible writing style Experience creating resource guides or public-facing info Familiar with transportation, human services, or nonprofit sectors is a plus
