MERN Developer Needed for Bug Fixes, Email Popup, and Frontend Cleanup (78)
We are AngelWatch Foundation, a U.S.-based child safety , and we're seeking a skilled and reliable MERN stack developer to help us clean up our live production site, fix existing bugs, improve frontend layout, and complete a high-priority email capture popup. Your responsibilities will include: Backend: Reviewing and fixing critical bugs in Node.js + Express backend Setting up PM2 to monitor and auto-restart the backend Securing the codebase and ensuring production reliability (Optional but preferred) Running a SonarQube scan or equivalent to flag deeper issues Frontend: Fixing layout/responsiveness issues in the React frontend Cleaning up design inconsistencies or spacing based on our notes Improving overall mobile and desktop UX Email Capture Popup: Finalizing a popup that collects emails in exchange for a discount/resource Triggering the popup on scroll or time delay Connecting to a secure backend endpoint for email storage Delivering email leads to us (via database, export, or live notification) Ensuring smooth styling and functionality on both desktop and mobile ✔️ Requirements: Proven experience working with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) Ability to work with a live production site without causing disruptions Strong front-end debugging and layout correction skills Ability to implement backend-connected components (like the email capture system) Clear communication and fast turnaround Willingness to suggest better tools or practices if applicable
