Seeking Patent Attorney to File Design Patent
We’re seeking a U.S.-licensed patent attorney to help us file a design patent for a new consumer-facing card game. The game features distinct and original visual elements that differentiate it from standard playing cards and existing card games. We’ve already filed for copyright protection on the gameplay and rulebook, and now we want to secure a design patent that protects the visual presentation of the game, specifically: - The distinctive artwork and iconography used for suits and face cards - The card layout and stylization, including symbolic hand gestures and embedded objects - The reverse side (back-of-card) design - The look and feel of the card deck when arranged - The overall visual identity of the product packaging Scope of Work: -Review the finalized card and packaging designs -Advise on which design elements are protectable under U.S. design patent law -Prepare and file the complete design patent application with the USPTO -Ensure all drawings and documentation meet USPTO standards -Recommend next steps for international design protection if applicable Requirements: U.S.-registered patent attorney with active USPTO credentials Proven experience filing successful design patents Strong communication skills and availability for quick turnaround Bonus: Experience in toys, games, or consumer product packaging design Timeline: Filing desired within 2 weeks.
