Description: We’re a fast-growing, design/build landscaping company based in Austin, Texas, looking for a talented and reliable Landscape Designer to join our team on a long-term, ongoing basis. We specialize in creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces—from high-end residential gardens to full-scale landscape renovations. As our client base expands, we’re seeking a creative professional who can help us bring our vision to life through strong design, communication, and collaboration. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in residential and/or commercial landscape design Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar) Ability to create concept plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and construction details Strong understanding of Central Texas native and adaptive plants, xeriscaping, and regional climate considerations Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with our in-house team Ability to deliver timely, high-quality work and be responsive to feedback Availability for long-term freelance collaboration (10–20 hours/week to start, with room to grow) Bonus If You Have: Familiarity with permitting or HOA submission processes Experience working with contractors or in a design/build firm A portfolio that includes projects in Texas or similar climates To Apply: Please submit:angela@yarrowlandscaping A brief intro about your background and why you’re a good fit Website:https://yarrowlandscaping.com/ Hourly rate $25/30 per hour based on experience Your typical turnaround time for a landscape design concept We’re excited to find someone who’s passionate about landscape design and looking to build a strong working relationship with a busy, creative, and experienced team.
