Book Formatter Needed to Create Exact Mini Version of Physical Book
We’re looking for a skilled book formatter to replicate an existing physical book exactly and prepare it for print in a smaller trim size. You will receive a physical copy of the original book and a PDF (which may have formatting inconsistencies). Your task is to produce a perfectly matched, print-ready PDF version scaled down proportionally for a mini-sized version. What You’ll Do: - Match the formatting of the physical book exactly - Adjust layout proportionally to fit a new, smaller trim size - Deliver a 1:1 replica PDF ready for print - Ensure all fonts, line breaks, spacing, and layout are consistent with the original - Make sure the final file meets POD print requirements (we’ll provide specs) Requirements: - Experience with book formatting for print - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or similar layout software - Strong attention to detail - Ability to receive a physical book in the mail - Understanding of print specs for KDP This is a precision task, and we’re looking for someone who can match the original book exactly.
